This article is devoted to the study of the theoretical foundations of the system of statistical indicators for assessing the economic efficiency of livestock farming. The article analyzes livestock statistics, types of economic indicators and the principles of their systematization. It also shows the possibilities of increasing the economic efficiency of livestock farming and the effective use of resources through a systematic approach. The results of the article are of practical importance in developing strategies for managing and developing livestock farming.
