This article examines the historical evolution, current status, and future trajectories of the role of women in society. For centuries, structural barriers restricted women to domestic roles, limiting their socio-economic and political participation. However, through systemic education, legislative reforms, and global advocacy, the modern era has witnessed a profound paradigm shift. This paper analyzes the multifaceted contributions of women in the modern workforce, family dynamics, and leadership positions. Drawing on sociological and economic data, it argues that women's empowerment is not merely a matter of social justice, but a critical prerequisite for sustainable global development and economic prosperity.References
