Abstract

This article focuses on the study of new words and neologisms that have emerged in English and Uzbek under the influence of social networks. It examines modern lexical units used in online communication, their origins, and their usage in both languages. The paper also highlights how English terms are borrowed into Uzbek as well as how new expressions are formed within the Uzbek language itself. Overall, the article aims to show how social networks contribute to the ongoing development of language.
