Mazkur maqolada ingliz tili reading darslari orqali o‘quvchilarda tanqidiy fikrlash ko‘nikmalarini rivojlantirish masalalari tahlil qilinadi. Reading jarayonida matnni tushunish, tahlil qilish, xulosa chiqarish va mustaqil fikr bildirish kabi kompetensiyalarni shakllantirishning samarali usullari yoritilgan. Shuningdek, zamonaviy pedagogik texnologiyalar va interfaol metodlarning o‘quvchilarning mantiqiy hamda ijodiy fikrlashiga ta’siri ko‘rib chiqiladi. Maqolada reading darslarida savol-javob, munozara, muammoli vaziyatlar yaratish va matn asosida tahliliy topshiriqlardan foydalanishning ahamiyati ochib berilgan. Tadqiqot natijalari ingliz tili ta’limida tanqidiy fikrlashni rivojlantirish o‘quvchilarning kommunikativ kompetensiyasini oshirishga xizmat qilishini ko‘rsatadi.
