Social media has become a useful tool for improving students' language skills as digital technology become more prevalent in the classroom. One of the most difficult language learning skills is writing, which calls for regular practice and active participation. Conventional teaching approaches frequently offer few opportunities for interaction, which results in low motivation and inadequate writing progress.
The possible advantages of using social media into writing training are investigated in this study. It is clear from examining previous studies and classroom observations that social media, messaging apps, and blogs provide a dynamic setting where students may regularly practise writing, get criticism from their peers, and interact with actual audiences. These exercises enhance vocabulary, coherence, grammatical precision, and artistic expression.
