Mazkur maqolada gilos (Prunus avium L.) ko‘chatlarining vegetativ o‘sishi, morfologik xususiyatlari hamda hosil berish salohiyatiga nav va payvand taglarining ta’siri o‘rganilgan. Tadqiqotlar 7 yoshli ko‘chatlar asosida olib borilib, Italiya, Fransiya va Chexiyadan keltirilgan Burlat, Ferroviya, Sabrina, Ferniyer, Kordiya va Ferdiva navlari Maxma 14 hamda Cold payvand taglarida tahlil qilindi.
Asosiy biometrik ko‘rsatkichlar sifatida daraxt balandligi, poyaning o‘rtacha kesim yuzasi va toj proyeksiyasi maydoni baholandi. Natijalar shuni ko‘rsatdiki, Maxma 14 payvand tagi daraxtlarda kengroq toj hosil bo‘lishi va yuqori fotosintez faoliyatini ta’minlasa, Cold payvand tagi kuchli poya rivojlanishi va vegetativ o‘sish sur’atini oshiradi. Sabrina navi (Maxma 14) eng yuqori vegetativ ko‘rsatkichlarni namoyon etgan bo‘lsa, Ferdiva navi ixcham morfologik tuzilishi bilan ajralib turdi.
Tadqiqot natijalari gilos yetishtirishda nav va payvand tagini to‘g‘ri tanlash ko‘chatlarning rivojlanishi va kelgusidagi hosildorlikni oshirishda muhim ahamiyatga ega ekanligini ko‘rsatadi.
